Summary

Measures to take regional requirements into account when allocating network connections to better utilize existing and planned network capacities, to enable further expansion of renewable energies, reduce redispatching and create legal certainty: Reservation of network connection capacities for loads and electricity storage for a maximum of five years at individual network connection points, e.g. in the case of designated commercial or industrial areas, prioritization of connection recipients who are willing to build over loads and battery storage with renewables Energies, offer of a flexible grid connection agreement by the grid operator at the request of the connection recipient, connection of stand-alone battery storage exclusively with a flexible grid connection agreement;<br /> Amendment to Section 17 of the Energy Industry Act
